Watch Steve’s YouTube videos—he gives lots of useful hints. I made a rocking Strat with these and adapted the neck templates for a Jazzmaster neck. Was easier than I thought it’d be. Amongst Steve’s most useful tips: size your dowels with the tool he uses. That makes life much, much better. I’ll be acquiring more from MGW in the near future.

Best templates I ever used. Extremely well thought out and made. I've had ZERO issues, complaints or set backs using my new templates from Maximum Guitar Works. I plan on buying all my template needs from Steve. Sure you can find templates you need from cheaper sources but they won't be up to the high quality precision and accuracy of Steve's templates. You get what you pay for, and Steve's templates are easily the best out there.

I have used several other templates for years and the neck joint was always problematic. You can't tighten up a sloppy joint easily. Applying double sided tape and matching center lines isn't necessary after the initial off body alignment pins.

These are commercial grade templates suitable for a production shop. Very well made and should last a long time. The template alignment pins are ingenious in enabling precision cross alignment when various templates are switched out. Very happy with these templates.
