The Nellie guitars hold a special place, in that they were created as an example for the class Steve teaches on custom guitars. We are excited to make the Nellie a production model guitar at Maximum Guitar Works. These are top notch guitars with extreme dedication to detail. The familiar shape has been around for 70 years, with inspiration from Nashville. What gives this guitar the name TSS is the tellie strat strat Production which gives this guitar a unique sound.
Nellie is based on a Nashville Tele…with a splash of Tele Deluxe…sprinkled with some modern electronic innovation. These are not your Grandfathers Telecaster.

My #1 Guitar

I am the proud owner of the exact Nellie TSS shown here on the website, and it has become my #1 guitar. The craftsmanship is second to none. It's like my dream guitar! Everything about the guitar is thought out carefully, and the parts chosen are fantastic. The Nellie TSS Turbo is a tone beast...there is no tone that I can't get with this design - plus it's easy to use. The on-board Mosfet boost is something that I originally thought was a cool idea but didn't think I'd utilize that much...I was wrong - I use it all the time. The body is so comfortable as well, and of course the finish is a head turner that I always get comments on!
I can't recommend Steve and MGW enough...he will build your dream guitar as well, I have no doubt.
