This template is really neat. I ordered mine with a custom nut size. This was for a project that required me to remove a fretboard, and make a new one, so it was critical that the dimensions were accurate. They were absolutely perfect! The customer service here is top notch.

The schaller hannes T-fit templates makes a simple task of what would be an otherwise difficult bridge installation. I cant fault them
Watch Steve’s YouTube videos—he gives lots of useful hints. I made a rocking Strat with these and adapted the neck templates for a Jazzmaster neck. Was easier than I thought it’d be. Amongst Steve’s most useful tips: size your dowels with the tool he uses. That makes life much, much better. I’ll be acquiring more from MGW in the near future.
I got this custom template really quickly. The off body alignment pins have metal grommets, and these should last me a lifetime. I plan to use it both with body blanks and with partially routed bodies. I highly, highly recommend.
I havent had a chance to use the jig yet, but everything is square, smooth, and well put together. The bigfoot base has a lot of mounting options for different routers, im using a makita RP2301FC (not listed on the base) 2 of the screw holes line up for this model and holds solid enough for use with the jig
It is a really tight fit. The only thing I noticed is the routing depths engraved are not what Floyed Rose are recommending on their website so make sure you check the bridge manufacture routing recommendations.
